Appliqué Snowman Placemats

Beginner Level

Instructor: Lelo Hardy

Supplies Needed:

" Steam a Seam2 or Heat & Bond Light -  1/2 yard

" 6 Pre-Purchased Cloth Placemats

" Scraps of white, orange, red fabrics (enough to make 6 Snowmen)

" Iron, ironing board/mat

" Scissors small enough to cut small pieces

" Sewing Machine in Working order

" Size #14 (universal or microtex sharp needle)

" Matching threads for top stitching pattern to placemats

" Snowman Pattern will be provided.

“Braid Runner” Table Runner

Advanced Beginner Level

Supplies Needed:

 

" 6” center square

" 6 - 1/8 yd of cotton in coordinating colors ranging light to dark

" 1/2 yd cotton fabric for inner border & binding

" 1/2 yd cotton fabric for outer border

" Batting & backing material that measures 20” x 60”

" Bobbin thread to match the backing of the runner

" Marking Pencil

" Sewing Machine

" Cutting Mat, Rotary Cutter & Ruler
